Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces it represented The Foundation School of Montgomery County in the renegotiation of a lease of 19,363 square feet at 220 Girard Street in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Transwestern Senior Vice President Susan Kay and Vice President Mark Boyce provided leasing services on behalf of the tenant.
“The restructured lease we negotiated secured a reduced rental rate and extension of the lease term for The Foundation School of Montgomery County,” said Kay. “They have been a tenant in this property for over 10 years and are enthusiastic about the reduced lease costs from the new deal structure, which will allow them to continue their good work with the community in a familiar location.”
The suburban flex building sits on 3.46 acres and is in close proximity to the Washington Grove and Gaithersburg Commuter Rail. It is positioned closely to Interstate 270, MD Route 200 (Inter-County Connector), MD Route 355 and the Shady Grove Metro Station.
