Transwestern Guides Site Selection, Construction Management

Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces it represented CWCapital in its 15,966-square-foot lease at 900 19th Street NW in Washington, D.C. Vice President Joe McCormick and Executive Vice President John Schlegel of Transwestern’s Occupier Solutions team provided tenant advisory services for the client.

“CWCapital’s new space on the top floor of this recently renovated building maximizes space efficiency for the firm and puts them near a young, talented workforce,” said Schlegel. “The location checked all the boxes in an exhaustive search process and was the culmination of a truly collaborative effort.”

Current tenants of the Class A office asset, which is owned by Tishman Speyer, include Cassidy Levy Kent USA LLP, Blue Like An Orange Sustainable Capital and International Labour Organization.

“During the selection process we brought in Transwestern’s Construction Management team to provide feedback on sites, which saved time while ensuring all of our client’s goals were met,” said McCormick.

The property offers tenant amenities such as a fitness center, car charging station, conferencing facility and bicycle storage. Nearby commuter options include Farragut West, Farragut North and Foggy Bottom-GWU transit stops.

“We are excited about our new location and looking forward to the move,” shared James Shevlin, President and COO of CWCapital. “As our employees slowly begin to return to the office following the COVID-19 pandemic, we are designing our new space with necessary safety precautions in mind. We are confident our centrally located, bright, efficient space will continue to help us attract and retain top talent in the commercial real estate industry.”
