Howard Energy Moving to 10,000 SF Building on 2.7 Acres in Brooklyn

7/27/20

Gold and Company assisted the buyer and seller on $1.89-million transaction

Howard Energy will be relocating to Brooklyn, Maryland as the company recently purchased a 10,000 sq. ft. building on 2.7 acres at 34 Thomas Ave. Jim Chivers and Mitch Gold of Gold and Company assisted the buyer and seller on this $1.89-million transaction.

Howard Energy is relocating from 4501 Curtis Ave. in Curtis Bay as the property was recently sold to developers. After learning its lease would not be renewed, Howard Energy contacted Gold and Co. to assist in finding a new location.

The building at 34 Thomas Ave. has loading docks and a drive-in ramp. It has heavy industrial zoning and the 2.7 acres of land provide valuable outside storage. The property also has access to nearby interstates and Fairfield Marine Terminal. Nearby tenants include Whiting-Turner, BF Joy Co., Bruce P. Murdock Inc., and Taylor Oil.

Howard Energy, which was founded in 1994, is a first-generation family business specializing in wholesale petroleum motor fuel distribution throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Baltimore City-based Gold and Company provides commercial real estate brokerage and development services to buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants in the Baltimore metropolitan area. (www.goldcommercial.net)
