The Baltimore Station, an organization that provides individuals who suffer from homelessness or substance abuse disorder with residential and outpatient treatment programs, is pleased to announce Tracy Davis as director of residential programs. In this role, Davis is responsible for overseeing residential and clinical programming and operations to ensure programmatic excellence, promote mission-aligned practices and strengthen valuable professional relationships and partnerships. She will also supervise all program staff members to outline work responsibilities and develop educational efforts.

Davis joins The Baltimore Station with over eight years’ experience in management and outreach therapy. As a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and Maryland Board Approved Supervisor, Davis retains advanced analytical, interpersonal and clinical skills to help fellow practitioners, patients and stakeholders excel within programs and counseling. Her therapeutic foundation resides in Adlerian, though her strengths also extend into motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy and expressive therapy.

“Tracy’s expertise in working with veterans and those with substance use disorder will be invaluable to our residents and staff,” said John Friedel, executive director at The Baltimore Station. “Her skillset and experience will allow us to continue growing the program and supporting homeless veterans throughout the state.”

Most recently, Davis served as an outreach counselor and a clinic counselor at SERCO Inc. PHOP in Washington D.C., where she was responsible for case management, military outreach programs and initiatives, briefings and presentations, and training staff on proper protocol. Davis has also acquired direct client-facing experience, as she has provided therapeutic services, marriage and family counseling, psychiatric assessments, and addiction and co-occurring counseling to children, military personnel, adults and families. Her experience in stabilizing and improving mental health as a therapist, clinician and counselor for several organizations offers her a diverse and thorough skill set to achieve therapeutic objectives.

Davis has also earned a Structured Analysis Family Evaluation certificate in 2008 and a LCPC Insurance certificate in 2016. Davis received a bachelor’s degree in arts, human growth and development from Sojourner-Douglass College and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Bowie State University. She currently resides in Crofton, Md.
