Building STEPS Selected for Maryland Aviation Administration’s New Community Partners Program

Building STEPS has been selected as a winner in the Maryland Aviation Administration’s Community Partners Program. The program promotes charitable nonprofit organizations throughout the State of Maryland and Washington, DC. Building STEPS was selected out of a pool of over 70 nonprofit organizations.

Building STEPS artwork is on display at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. in Concourses C and D through April 2020. The purpose of the Community Partners Program is to showcase the positive impact nonprofits are making in our local communities.

“We are thankful for this opportunity to showcase Building STEPS and proud to be recognized for propelling Baltimore City students to college and career success,” said Dr. Richard Edlow, Building STEPS Board Chair.

Building STEPS is a nonprofit that exposes Baltimore City’s brightest high school students to careers that rely on science and technology and equips them with the tools to propel them to college and career success. Building STEPS is celebrating its 20 year of propelling college and career success.
