New Marquee Stores, Restaurants and Services Join Growing Line-Up at the Mega Project in Tysons

The Meridian Group announced today that another wave of exciting retail is coming to The Boro.

The new tenants include a two-story Ethan Allen furniture store, French bakery Paris Baguette, Verizon Wireless, a hair studio, nail lounge, and restaurants Akira Ramen and Poki DC.

“We are excited and proud to welcome these outstanding new stores, restaurants and services to The Boro,” said David Cheek, President of The Meridian Group, which is developing The Boro. “We could not be happier with all the marquee businesses and organizations that are choosing The Boro and helping us make it the area’s preeminent destination for shopping, dining and entertainment.”

The Boro’s first phase will feature nearly 2 million square feet of office, retail, residential and entertainment space. The latest additions announced today:

  • Ethan Allen, a leading interior design company and manufacturer and retailer of quality home furnishings. Ethan Allen is relocating from their Route 7 location and opening a store featuring 11,500 square feet across two floors at the corner of Boro Place and Westpark Drive.
  • Colour Bar Studio, a luxurious hair salon offering a variety of services including coloring and haircuts. The 3,400-square-foot salon, Colour Bar’s second in Northern Virginia, will be on the second floor of The Loft along Boro Place.
  • Paris Baguette, a French bakery offering a unique assortment of breads, pastries and cakes baked daily as well as chef-inspired sandwiches and salads. Paris Baguette’s second location in Northern Virginia, the 2,600-square-foot café will be located on the ground floor of Boro Tower at the corner of Broad Street and Solutions Drive.
  • Akira Ramen & Izakaya is one of the few restaurants that makes its own Soba noodles and features an open kitchen. This is Akira Ramen’s second location and they are opening a 2,000-square-foot restaurant on Boro Place, across from Whole Foods Market.
  • Tysons Nail Lounge, which will open a 1,600-square-foot location on the second floor of The Loft. The lounge will be an expansion of Mint Nail Lounge, a premier manicure, pedicure and waxing lounge in the Mosaic District in Fairfax, VA.
  • Poki DC, a 1,400-square-foot location offering tasty poke as well as freshly-brewed bubble tea. Poki DC will open on Boro Place, adjacent to Akira Ramen.
  • Verizon Wireless, which will offer phones, accessories and support services. Its 1,400-square-foot store will be on Greensboro Drive.

“We are thrilled with the mix of restaurants, stores and services coming to The Boro,” said Tom Boylan, Senior Vice President at The Meridian Group. “This lineup will further enhance The Boro experience for visitors, tenants and residents.”

All stores, including Whole Foods Market, are slated to open this year at The Boro. Located within easy walking distance of the Greensboro Metro station, the development will consist of an attractive mix of office, residential, retail, entertainment and open park space – a walkable urban environment that has long been desired in Tysons.

Other restaurants and services coming to The Boro include:

  • Whole Foods Market, a flagship 69,000-square-foot location, will feature an outdoor mezzanine space with a fire pit overlooking Boro Place, an expansive bar area and food hall with chef-sponsored kitchen stations. This location, which is the largest in the DC Metro, will also have Amazon lockers and sell Amazon products in-store.
  • ShowPlace ICON Theaters, a luxurious new cinema with 14 auditoriums featuring state-of-the-art audio and visual features, recliner seats, reserved seating, and an upscale food and beverage offering.
  • North Italia, a full-service restaurant offering fine Italian fare handmade from scratch. The 6,200-square-foot restaurant, North Italia’s first in Northern Virginia, will be located on Boro Place.
  • Flower Child, a fast-casual restaurant featuring healthy wraps, bowls and salads made from the freshest ingredients. Flower Child’s first location in Northern Virginia, the 3,600-square-foot restaurant will also be on Boro Place.
  • Fish Taco, a casual taqueria offering distinctive cuisine inspired by Baja California, Mexico and the Southwest. The 3,400-square-foot location, Fish Taco’s first in Northern Virginia, will be on Boro Place.
  • Tasty Kabob, a casual restaurant offering delicious Halal foods including lamb, chicken and fresh vegetables. Currently operated as a food truck in the D.C. metropolitan area, the 2,100-square-foot restaurant on Boro Place will be Tasty Kabob’s first brick-and-mortar location.
