Move Facilitated By Strong Growth Of The Company Over The Past year
Polaris Alpha today announced it is moving its Aberdeen, MD-based Intelligence & Combat Information Division into a new office, also in Aberdeen. The new location -- more than twice the size of the old office -- was needed due to the growth of Polaris Alpha over the past year.
The new facility will provide additional meeting rooms, testing areas, and demonstration labs. It will also offer a unique open collaboration environment designed to foster employee/customer teamwork on common projects, idea exchange and information sharing. The Office of the CEO will also be located in the new office.
“Polaris Alpha has experienced tremendous growth in 2017, and this move will enable us to continue that growth without worrying about office constraints,” said Peter Cannito, CEO, Polaris Alpha. “We were also looking for space that was conducive to not only the number of employees but for the cultural environment. This location is set up in a manner that encourages and cultivates open idea exchange and enhanced teamwork, which will undoubtedly benefit our customers as well.”
The new location is at 6210 Guardian Gateway, Suite 200, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. It has 16,497 sq. ft., compared with 6,943 sq. ft. in the old location. It will be staffed by approximately 34 people.
