Continental Realty Corp. Selects Matthew Johnson As VP Of Asset Management

Continental Realty Corporation, a Baltimore-based commercial real estate investment and management company, has selected Matthew Johnson to the newly-created position of Vice President of Asset Management. He previously spent the past five years working in asset management for Alex. Brown Realty

In his new role, Mr. Johnson will oversee the complete Asset Management function of the company, with special emphasis on managing the extensive capital improvement program that is currently being executed at various properties. He will also interact with each division of the company to devise and implement business intelligence reporting protocols, provide on-going analytical support, and develop strategies to maximize overall efficiencies and effectiveness of the asset management unit.

Johnson brings more than twelve years of real estate experience to Continental Realty Corporation. In addition to Alex. Brown Realty, he also held positions with M&T Bank in the Commercial Real Estate Finance division, as well as with Obrecht Commercial Real Estate. Johnson also spent five years with the United States Navy.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Washington College and a Master’s in Business Administration with a finance concentration from Johns Hopkins University. He also received a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University.
