Sulerzyski Joins Ober|Kaler’s Estates & Trusts Practice
BALTIMORE MD, November 13, 2009 -- The law firm Ober|Kaler announced today that Victoria Z. Sulerzyski has joined the firm's Estates & Trusts Group as an associate attorney in the Baltimore office.
Ms. Sulerzyski works with clients, particularly those with special needs, in estate planning and administration matters. She handles wills, trusts, special needs trusts, guardianships, powers of attorney, advance directives and tax issues, including charitable giving.
Before joining Ober|Kaler, Ms. Sulerzyski was an associate counsel at Miles & Stockbridge, P.C. and an associate at Offit Kurman, P.A. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alan M. Wilner of the Court of Appeals of Maryland.
A strong advocate for individuals with special needs, Ms. Sulerzyski has testified before the United States Congress on medically fragile daycare issues, and before the Maryland General Assembly on various disability issues. She also chairs the Board of Trustees of PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs, a Kennedy Krieger Institute affiliate that serves young children with medical and developmental challenges.
Ms. Sulerzyski serves on the Anne Arundel County Local Interagency Coordinating Council and the Maryland Department of Health & Mental Hygiene Model Waiver Program Committee. She served as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2007.
She is a member of the American Bar Association's Sections on Labor & Employment and Taxation and the Maryland State Bar Association's Sections on Estates & Trusts and Labor & Employment.
Ms. Sulerzyski is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2005), the University of Maryland (B.S., Journalism 1986) and the University of Maryland University College (B.S. Paralegal Studies, 1996). She resides in Severna Park, Maryland.
