AVIcode CEO Reinstates Salaries, Issues Bonuses & Shaves Head (but not jobs)

Last week, AVIcode CEO Mike Curreri got his first buzz cut since entering the Naval Academy as a Plebe in 1969. Curreri made good on a bet to shave his thick head of wavy brown hair if the team exceeded an aggressive sales goal for Q309 - and they did!

Prior to the start of the quarter, Curreri implemented a cost-cutting measure in the form of a 15% salary cut across the board to all employees. But, he promised that if the company exceeded its goal for the quarter, he would reinstate salaries, issue bonuses to make up for money lost, and as a final incentive - shave his head in the company's lobby for all to see. Well, the company hit its goal and everyone got a chance to give Curreri a cut as he made good on his promise.

Said Curreri, "I'm 58 years old and my hair is the only thing on my body operating like it used to. I'm proud of the team for pulling together and having a great quarter, the second-best in our history. Hopefully the economy will keep coming back as my hair grows back!"
