Rotary Game Show Fundraiser Nov. 5 Supports Local Causes
It's The Original Game Show Live Thursday, November 5, 6:30 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 6120 Daylong Lane, Clarksville, MD. as the Rotary Club of Columbia Patuxent hosts an evening of live game show excitement, along with heavy hors d'oeuvres, a premium bar and special game show auctions. Guests will have the opportunity to compete for prizes on versions of game show favorites such as: Are you Smarter than a Rotarian?, Let's Trade Some Stuff, Make a Match, and Meal or No Meal. Howard County notables, including Howard County Executive Ken Ulman, Dick Storey, Howard County Economic Development Authority CEO and others will face off against Rotarians in Howard County Feud. Funds raised will go to The Columbia Rotary Club's support of local and international community non-profits.

The Rotary Club of Columbia Patuxent has contributed more than $500,000 to various non-profit organizations, 95% of which are returned to the local community; 5% help support international efforts. Last year it distributed more than $50,000 and served more than 1,000 people. Funds raised at this event will be distributed at its annual community awards meeting. The club meets Friday mornings at 7:30AM at Vantage House, 5400 Vantage Point Road, Columbia.
