Erickson’s Mel Tansill is Re-Elected to CHC Board of Directors
CATONSVILLE, MD (July 25, 2008) -- Mel Tansill, senior director of corporate public affairs for Erickson Retirement Communities, bas been re-elected to a two-year term on the board of directors for Community Health Charities of Maryland. He will assist the statewide federation of nonprofit health services agencies in policy, planning and marketing.
Tansill has been with Community Health Charities of Maryland for the past eight years. He received the Joseph Forni Award, the organization's highest honor, in 2002 in recognition of outstanding volunteer service.
A published poet, Tansill resides in Catonsville with his wife, Paulette, and their cats: Katie, Charlie, Molly, and Mr. Socks.
