Steven Manekin, CPA and Director in the Audit, Accounting, and Consulting Department at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered was recently a featured speaker at the Maryland State Bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm Conference held at the BWI Hilton in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Mr. Manekin’s program entitled “Business Aspects of Starting a Solo Practice” was presented to association members.

Mr. Manekin is also Chairperson of Ellin & Tucker’s Law Firm Services Group and specializes in assisting law firms and small to medium-size businesses in meeting their accounting and business consulting needs. He is past President of the Law Firm Services Association, a national organization of certified public accounting firms specializing in services to law firms, and has written many articles appearing in legal-related and local business publications. Mr. Manekin has also been a featured speaker for the American Bar Association, the D.C. Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Law Firm Services Association and The Association of Legal Administrators, as well as local bar associations.
