Phil Horowitz Honored on "Most Highly Regarded" List
Venable LLP is pleased to announce that five attorneys have been named to the International Who's Who of Real Estate Lawyers 2012. The honorees include Phil Horowitz, who was named to the highly selective "Most Highly Regarded" list, one of only ten attorneys worldwide to be so-honored. Robert Gottlieb and Stef Tucker from the Washington, DC office and Kevin Shepherd and James Wright from the Baltimore office were also recognized by the publication for their prominence in the field.
In written commentary, Horowitz was described "as one of the most highly regarded lawyers internationally, receiving praise for his transactional work, office, government and retail leasing and development work." Gottlieb and Tucker were noted for bringing "extensive tax expertise to the table in their work in real estate transactions." Shepherd is "lauded for his work on behalf of large domestic and multinational institutions in complex matters, and has been involved in some of the most significant recent real estate transactions in his native Baltimore." Wright is described as a "strong name" for his transactional work.
