Terra Nova Ventures Considering Redevelopment of 19th Century Mill
Mill No. 1 in Hampden
Baltimore -- Terra Nova Ventures, a Baltimore-based developer that specializes in urban infill sites, preservation of historic structures, and adaptive reuse of buildings, is considering a project to turn a 19th Century cotton mill into a mix of apartments and retail space, according to a report by North Baltimore Patch.
The firm already is involved in redeveloping Mill No. 1 in Hampden into a mixed-use property, located to the south of the cotton mill. The cotton mill has similarities to Mill No. 1, “but we’re looking for a little different approach," David Tufaro, a principal with Tera Nova, told Patch. The cotton mill project is still in the conceptual phase, he said.
