SocialToaster Names Walt Rampata Chief Marketing Officer, Unveils New Website
SocialToaster, which raised almost $2 million in June, has named Walt Rampata as its new Chief Marketing Officer while introducing a new design to its website.
Rampata joins the Baltimore based social networking/advertising company after having served as vice president of Projectalent and SNS Marketing. Before that, he co-founded digitalorganism, an interactive, multi-media marketing company.
Rampata told citybizlist, “We are poised for serious growth in the coming months. We have a dynamic social media marketing platform with SocialToaster – competitively positioned, functionally superior, and driven by a passionate team of social media experts. My goal is to position us for success in the hearts of savvy marketing executives across the national business landscape; helping them recognize the competitive value that SocialToaster brings to their marketing mix.”
SocialToaster also unveiled a new look and feel to its website. The design and illustrations were done by the company’s creative director, Thomas Neuberger, who was previously a creative director at Warschawski.
Led by Brian Razzaque, SocialToaster closed a $1.98 million series A round of funding in June. Blu Venture Investors, Baltimore Angels, Wasabi Ventures, and Piedmont Investment Advisors were participants.
SocialToaster serves as an alternative to traditional advertising by helping “clients monetize the social channel by increasing the visibility of posts and maximizing their potential reach in a repeatable, measurable way.”
