New Clarksburg Village Center Set to Open in October 2013
With construction underway at the 109,000 square foot community center known as Clarksburg Village Center, an anticipated opening date has been set for October 2013.
Developed by Elm Street Development in conjunction with NV Retail, the Harris Teeter anchored center is located at the intersection of Newcut Road and Snowden Farm Parkway in Clarksburg, MD.
Designed by Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects, the neighborhood center will feature a 53,000 square foot Harris Teeter grocery store accompanied by 56,000 square feet of additional retail and restaurant space.
L.F. Jennings will construct four new retail buildings as well as the hardscape installation for the retail portion of the site.
The building design features include a blend of masonry brick, stone veneer and EIFS complemented by standing seam metal roofs. The pedestrian friendly center incorporates a mixture of outdoor seating areas and gathering places for the local Clarksburg community.
