Maroon PR Appoints Megan Pringle Director of News & Multimedia

Maroon PR, a full-service public relations and marketing agency with local, regional and national clients, announced it has named Megan Pringle Director of News & Multimedia. In her new role, Pringle will be responsible for the creation and development of unique digital content, including broadcast, online and web multimedia, for Maroon PR?s clients.

From producer to news anchor to bureau chief reporter, Pringle has a diverse background in news markets all over the country. With approximately 15 years of experience, she has covered various topics from politics to crime to the red carpet. Pringle has built a solid name for herself in the news industry and is known as a strong storyteller using video, audio and compelling writing. Most recently, Pringle served as the Morning News Anchor for WMAR-TV, the local Baltimore ABC affiliate.

As Director of News & Multimedia, Pringle will provide strategy, development and creation of digital news content for Maroon PR?s clients, which include sports properties, nonprofit organizations, hospitality and entertainment brands. Pringle will also provide media training to company executives and spokespeople, as well as assist with the development of overall communication planning.

A graduate of Central Michigan University, Pringle is a mother of twins, marathon runner, yoga enthusiast and animal lover. She will begin working with Maroon PR full-time in January 2014.
