Linda Berg is Elected to the Case Management Society of America Chesapeake Chapter Board
Linda Berg
Linda Berg is a 1980 graduate of the University of Maryland, School of Nursing. She has specialized in the maternal child health nursing field for 31 years. Prior to joining CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in 2001 as a Pediatric Case Manager, she worked at St. Agnes Hospital for 20 years in multiple maternal child health departments. At St. Agnes, Berg worked in the pediatric emergency room, pediatric intensive care unit, and served as team lead for the pediatric unit. Linda is currently a Pediatric Case Manager III in the Case Management Department at CareFirst and is actively involved in mentoring new pediatric case managers. She participates on various committees including those that are responsible for departmental testing related to the progressive informatics systems that are being implemented throughout the company. Linda received her Case Management certification from the Commission for Case Manager in October 2004. She is an active member of the local Chesapeake chapter of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA). She has served on the board of the CMSA of the Chesapeake since 2008, and has been re-elected for continuing service in 2013.
