Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Councilwoman Cathy Bevins joined Atlantic Design, Inc. (ADI) to officially open the company's new manufacturing building in White Marsh. The 42,000 square foot building at Baltimore Crossroads @95, adjacent to Maryland Route 43, more than doubles the size of the company's former location.
"We're pleased Atlantic Design has joined Baltimore County's business community," said Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz. "The business park at Baltimore Crossroads@95 is the perfect fit for a growing manufacturer."
"This family-owned business has found a new home in White Marsh-Middle River," said Councilwoman Cathy Bevins. "We welcome ADI and their employees to our community."
Atlantic Design manufactures equipment that is used to blast, remove and recycle grit created during construction. Their systems have been involved in the restoration of some of the Country's largest and most prestigious bridges, including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge and Golden Gate bridge. The equipment is also used in shipyards for the restoration of cruise ships, cargo and Navy vessels.
