Deborah Hollenstein Named New LifeBridge Health VP, Strategic Marketing and Communications

Deborah Hollenstein has been named as LifeBridge Health's new vice president, strategic marketing and communications. Hollenstein oversees all marketing, communications and public relations for the LifeBridge Health system, including budgets, strategy, and implementation of initiatives and programs.

"Deborah brings a well-established reputation for developing effective and innovative marketing and communications strategies in the health care sector. Her extensive creative and analytical experience will help LifeBridge Health continue to build upon our already strong relationships with both the community and our employees."

Hollenstein most recently served as vice president, marketing and planning, for Tanner Health System in Carrollton, Ga. She was responsible for marketing, public relations and strategy building for a four-hospital, not-for-profit health system and 28 system-owned medical clinics serving west Georgia and east Alabama. Hollenstein led the development of marketing and communications programs that contributed to the system's doubling of physician referrals and to significant growth in many of its specialty centers.

Prior to joining Tanner Health in 2009, Hollenstein was director of marketing and public relations for Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., which is a part of Tenet Healthcare, a for-profit health care organization based in Dallas, Texas. She overall has more than 20 years of experience in health care marketing. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and secondary education from the University of Alabama.
