Adelberg Rudow’s C.J. Persson Named BABC Business Law Committee Vice Chair
Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC Associate C.J. Persson was appointed vice chairman of the business law committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City.
In addition to holding monthly meetings to discuss business law questions among BABC members and members of the Baltimore City legal community, this committee prepares publications and is active in the Greater Baltimore community.
Bringing over 11 years of legal experience with 15 years of business management experience, Persson represents companies of all sizes and maturity in the health care, technology, construction, manufacturing, finance, beauty and retail industries.
She provides counsel on a full spectrum of business issues including, but not limited to, entity formation and private financing, commercial leasing, employee benefits, importing and trade compliance, intellectual property protection, promotions and tax. Her practice also involves developing and drafting compliance programs for health care providers.
A member-at-large to the Maryland State Bar Association’s Business Law Section Council, Persson previously served as deputy general counsel at Fila U.S.A., Inc. Earlier in her career, she was a corporate and tax associate at two Baltimore law firms.
Persson earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was an associate editor of The Business Lawyer, followed by an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She previously earned a bachelor‘s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude.
