Restaurants Will Feature Everything from Italian and Mexican Cuisine to Healthy Salads, and Gourmet Sandwiches and Tasty Kabobs
The Meridian Group announced today that a variety of popular new restaurants and services are coming to The Boro, the preeminent new development in Tysons that will feature more than 4 million square feet of office, retail, residential and entertainment space.
The seven new restaurants will offer a wide range of fare and dining experiences to appeal to every taste. The services will include a convenient dry-cleaning service and a patient-focused vision service.

The restaurants and services coming to The Boro include:
North Italia, a full-service restaurant offering fine Italian fare handmade from scratch. The 6,200-square-foot restaurant, North Italia’s first in Northern Virginia, will be located on Boro Place.
Flower Child, a fast-casual restaurant featuring healthy wraps, bowls and salads made from the freshest ingredients. Flower Child’s first location in Northern Virginia, the 3,600-square-foot restaurant will also be on Boro Place.
Fish Taco, a casual taqueria offering distinctive cuisine inspired by Baja California, Mexico and the Southwest. The 3,400-square-foot location, Fish Taco’s first in Northern Virginia, will be on Boro Place.
Taylor Gourmet, a casual restaurant featuring a menu of hoagies full of “adventurous flavors” and homemade sauces. The 2,300-square-foot restaurant will open on Greensboro Drive.
Tasty Kabob, a casual restaurant offering delicious Halal foods including lamb, chicken and fresh vegetables. Currently operated as a food truck in the DC metropolitan area, the 2,100-square-foot restaurant on Boro Place will be Tasty Kabob’s first brick-and-mortar location.
Tropical Smoothie Café, a restaurant offering flavorful smoothies and mouthwatering wraps, bowls, flatbreads and sandwiches. The 1,200-square-foot location will be on Greensboro Drive.
Bluestone Lane, a coffee shop influenced by the renowned coffee culture in Australia. The 1,100-square-foot café, Bluestone Lane’s first in Northern Virginia, will offer premium coffees, healthy dishes, signature juices and organic teas in the kiosk in Boro Park.
The services opening at The Boro include:
MyEyeDr., a patient-centered vision care center offering eye exams, as well as a comprehensive selection of prescription glasses and contact lenses. The 1,900-square-foot center will be located on Boro Place.
Boro Cleaners, a new dry-cleaning service. The 1,000-square-foot business will be located on Greensboro Drive.
All of the restaurants and businesses are slated to open at The Boro in 2019. Located within walking distance of the Greensboro Metro station, The Boro is being constructed on 15 acres in the heart of Tysons.
When completed, The Boro will feature more than 1,500 residential units, 1.9 million square feet of office space, 350,000 square feet of retail, 250,000 square feet of hotel space, a flagship Whole Foods Market and a state-of-the-art, 14-screen ShowPlace ICON theater.
