Poke’ Fish Sushi Opens New Fast-Casual Restaurant At Valley Village In Pikesville Section Of Baltimore County

8/7/18

Hawaiian-style concept allows customers to build their customized meal with choice of protein, rice, sauce, crunch and specialty-add mix-ins

Poke’ Fish Sushi, a Hawaiian-style fast-casual restaurant that allows customers to build their own customized meal, has opened a location within the Valley Village Shopping Center, located at 9163 Reisterstown Road in the Pikesville section of Baltimore County. The 115,000 square foot mixed-use project is owned and managed by David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD.

Poke’ Fish Sushi is open for lunch and dinner and serves an assortment of dishes including specialty Sushi rolls; Hibachi-style dinner with shrimp, chicken, beef, scallops or tofu; Japanese-style noodle dishes with Ramen or Udon noodles; deep-fried rolls and signature burritos filled with fish, tempura chicken or vegetables.

The differentiating menu item is the restaurant’s signature Poke’ bowl that enables customers to participate in a six-step process to build their perfect meal. It starts with a choice of the base (sushi rice, brown rice, mixed greens and kale noodle; Poke’ Burrito; or Poke’ salad). Next comes the choice of protein with options including Ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp, chicken and crabmeat among others. Customers then chose the perfect sauces and flavorings, followed by crunches (peanuts, almonds, Macadamia nuts) and mix-ins (vegetables, fruits and seeds).

“Poke’ Fish Sushi is leveraging the current popularity enabling customers to build their perfect meal with a focus on fresh and healthy ingredients,” stated Ken Bernstein of David S. Brown Enterprises. “The owners are proven operators and this a highly-unique concept that complements our tenant mix at Valley Village perfectly.”

Featuring roadside visibility from Reisterstown Road, Valley Village combines Class “A” commercial office space on two levels, with ground-level retail space. The project is surrounded by a free surface parking lot and is located approximately one-mile north from the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695). More than 40,000 vehicles pass Valley Village on a daily basis from Reisterstown Road, and the median household income within a one-mile radius exceeds $75,000.
