National Leader in Retail Real Estate Industry Honors Federal Realty’s Emily Gagliardi and James Milam

As Director of Leasing in the Mid-Atlantic region for Federal Realty, Gagliardi is instrumental in the retail curation of seven shopping centers spanning 1.28 million square feet. She is a vision-driver andhas been a strong force behind the reinvention of Pike & Rose, the 24-acre mixed-use neighborhood that now anchors one of greater DC’s most successful retail corridors. Since its opening in 2014, the transit-oriented development has grown to include more than 40 tenants in approximately 350,000 square feet of thoughtfully merchandized retail space, a 177-key boutique hotel, 765 luxury apartments, 99 condominiums and 80,000 square feet of best-in-class office space. Emily’s leadership, creativity and acumen here and throughout her portfolio has resulted in year over year growth but more importantly, long term value for our shareholders.

Milam, Federal Realty’s Vice President, Finance, Mixed Use, provides strategic direction, planning, analysis and reporting for 16 Federal Realty properties from Boston to Miami. James has provided invaluable financial guidance and overall leadership to our most complex, fast and dynamic operating division and as one of the executional leaders of Pike & Rose has been a key contributor to the property’s success.
