One of James Forrester’s alleged killers is now in custody.
Baltimore police on Thursday arrested 29-year-old Michael Bailey, of East Baltimore’s Madison-Eastend neighborhood, charging him with murder, assault, reckless endangerment and other offenses in the Dec. 18 killing of piercer and musician James Forrester.
Forrester, 43, was gunned down while talking on the phone with his wife outside the Baltimore Tattoo Museum on Eastern Avenue. Forrester worked there as a piercer, and was also the bassist for Maryland-based stoner rock groups Foghound and Serpents of Secrecy. He lived in Ranson, W.V.
BPD chief spokesman T.J. Smith said at a press conference today that Bailey was one of two suspects seen in surveillance footage from nearby, which police released to the public on Dec. 22. They’re still searching for the second man, he said.
