John Harbaugh Says Marty Mornhinweg Will Remain Ravens' Offensive Coordinator

At his season-ending news conference Jan. 4, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said "we're not making changes" to the coaching staff, meaning embattled Marty Mornhinweg will return for his second full season as the Ravens' offensive coordinator.

Defensive coordinator Dean Pees has already announced his retirement, and Harbaugh had no updates on that search, but he once again threw his support behind Mornhinweg, who has faced a lot of criticism after directing an offense that ranked 27th overall this season and last in passing yards per play (5.10).

The Ravens finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs for the third straight season after losing the season finale to the Cincinnati Bengals, 31-27, when the Bengals scored a last-minute touchdown. The Ravens stumbled to a 4-5 start before winning five of six down the stretch, but then they faltered against the Bengals in a game that determined their playoff fate.
