A long-serving real estate professional in the Timonium community, Branch Vice President Patty Kallmyer was nominated to treasurer of GBBR, president of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) of Greater Baltimore, and committee chair of the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC). She earned these nominations for her exceptional reputation and experience in the industry coupled with her positive activity at GBBR. Dedicated to serving the community, Kallmyer supports the CB Cares foundation, which donates to a wide array of local non-profit educational, health, welfare, environmental and cultural arts organizations.

In addition, Nakia Evans, Timonium affiliated agent, won the Rising Star Award for 2018 and was nominated to president-elect of WCR, an affiliate of GBBR whose mission is to advance women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry and the communities they serve. With over 15 years of experience, Evans serves on several committees including GBBR’s Membership and Education Committees and WCR’s Communications Committee and social team. Further, she was appointed to the Housing Affordability & Equal Opportunities Committee and the GRI Advisory Committee at Maryland REALTORS®.

James and Sally Matthews, both Timonium affiliated agents, were also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes leaders in the real estate industry who have made significant, positive contributions to the industry as a whole throughout his or her career. The couple have both been past presidents of GBBR, with James leading in 1981 and Sally in 1986. James has over 45 years of residential and land development/sales experience, has been active in GBBR’s Charitable Foundation for 20 years, and was also a past president of the Maryland Association of Realtors.

“I’m extremely proud of our agents at the Timonium office,” said Shawn Guzzo, regional vice president of the Baltimore region. “They have all been outstanding contributors to the real estate industry and these awards and nominations speak volumes to their passion and dedication for assisting others with their housing needs.”
