Company to Provide State’s Only Online System for Connecting Patients with Licensed Physicians
Veriheal (formerly OnePath Medical), a software provider used to connect doctors with patients needing medical cannabis, today announced that it is opening offices in and expanding its services to Billings, Bozeman, and Missoula, Montana.
“For patients living in Montana who need medical cannabis, there is no online system to connect them with licensed physicians for consultation,” said Joshua Green, co-founder, Veriheal. “Now, using our platform, patients will be able to schedule appointments with doctors located at one of our new offices throughout the state, receive their evaluation and prescription, and be directed to a local medical marijuana dispensary.”
Veriheal will open its first offices in Bozeman and Billings with 10 available doctors. Patients first register on Veriheal’s platform where they complete an online profile. From there, they undergo a telemedicine examination of pre-existing medical conditions and medical history with a licensed physician who will determine whether or not medical cannabis is appropriate. Currently, telemedicine is not approved in Montana, so patients needing medical cannabis are required to visit an office for their evaluation. If approved, the patient receives a medical cannabis recommendation and can then access medical cannabis dispensaries around the state.
Veriheal has created an ecosystem for healing that digitally connects patients with doctors, dispensaries, and ongoing medical cannabis education in one cloud software. Veriheal is also the only medical cannabis software that can be white labeled as a telemedicine platform for doctors. Last month, Veriheal expanded its services to Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania and is the only SaaS provider on the East Coast that enables people to legally access medical marijuana in their states.
