New Role Established To Handle SDVOSB Contracts

BALTIMORE, MD (12/13/17) The Traffic Group, Inc.’s (TTG) Renata Haberkam has been named as the firm’s Federal Contracting Liaison Officer. This appointment is in response to the firm earning the Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) designation in October. The Traffic Group is one of the nation’s leading traffic engineering and transportation planning firms.

Haberkam also heads up The Traffic Group’s business development and marketing departments, and will retain her current title as Director of Business Development. She oversees firm’s marketing efforts, including the public relations program. Haberkam is active in the local chapters of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS). She is the immediate Past President of ARTMA (Annapolis Regional Transportation Management Association).

As a SDVOSB, the firm is entitled to three percent of all Federal projects. This program was developed to help agencies meet the government-wide goal that three percent of all prime contract and subcontract awards be made to small businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans.
