Still smarting from the Ravens’ 39-38 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Dec. 10, head coach John Harbaugh acknowledged that it's easy to second-guess the way the Ravens defended Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, especially late in the game, as Brown beat Brandon Carr on a decisive pass play that set up the Steelers’ winning field goal.
Brown finished with 11 catches for 213 yards, including pass plays of 28, 43 and 34 yards when matched up one-on-one against Carr, and that 34-yarder moved the Steelers into field-goal range with 1:02 left. Kicker Chris Boswell drilled a game-winning, 46-yard field goal four plays later.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger finished 44 of 66 for 506 yards -- the most completions ever registered against the Ravens in a game. The Steelers' 486 net passing yards is also a record for a Ravens opponent.
