BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fidelis Cybersecurity (Fidelis), the company that empowers security operations teams with automated and intelligent technology to better protect the world’s most sensitive data, today announced the appointment of security industry notable, Wayne Bergland, as Vice President of Sales in North America.

In this role, Bergland will be responsible for leading Fidelis' sales team to build the company's customer portfolio and attain revenue targets in North America. Prior to Fidelis, Bergland served as a VP of sales for Forcepoint's network security business unit. While there, Bergland, lead a team of 40 sales professionals and grew the NA business +40%. Before Forcepoint, Bergland worked at Websense, which was then acquired by Forcepoint. Under his leadership, he improved customer retention, consistently grew new business, improved quality of the business and attracted top talent. Throughout his career, Bergland also worked at leading technology companies including Fluke Networks, Packeteer and SurfControl Inc.
