Kimberly Routson
Visit Baltimore, the official sales and marketing organization for Baltimore, is pleased to welcome Kimberly Routsonto the communications department as Public Affairs Manager.
Routson occupies a new role as public affairs manager, which assists the associate vice president of public affairs in Visit Baltimore’s advocacy, outreach and legislative strategy. She is also responsible for managing development, programs and operations support for the Visit Baltimore Education and Training Foundation.
Routson brings a wealth of experience in legislative and advocacy roles as well as development and community outreach. She most recently worked as a policy and program associate for the Job Opportunities Task Force, a small Baltimore-based non-profit that advocates for policies and programs to help Maryland job seekers gain opportunities in the workforce and reduce barriers to employment. She previously worked as a legislative director for Delegate Brooke Lierman and Delegate John Olszewski, Jr.
Routson earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration from University of Baltimore.
