An active member of GBBR, Essig boasts a long and distinguished career in residential real estate as both agent and broker. She began her love affair with the industry in 1996 and obtained her license two years later, becoming one of the top-producing agents in the Baltimore metro area. She joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty in 2009 as the branch manager of the company’s Roland Park office where she also enjoyed the role of coach and mentor. In 2015, Essig became a life and business coach for Tom Ferry International, and in 2016, she transitioned back to working as an agent full-time while continuing her role as trainer and coach.

“Without the education and contacts I’ve made at GBBR, I wouldn’t be the agent that I am today,” Essig said. “This organization has been invaluable to my career and I’m humbled and proud to represent it as its next president.
