Annual Flag Raising Ceremony At Mountain Marketplace Shopping Center

12/1/17

Klein Enterprises will recognize National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on December 9

In commemoration of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Klein Enterprises, together with VFW Post 304 (Annapolis), the Boy/Girl Scouts of America, and members of a dedicated community, will gather together to raise a new American flag at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017, for the 15th consecutive year, at the Mountain Marketplace Shopping Center located at 350 Mountain Road in Pasadena to honor veterans, men and women currently serving all over the world, as well as local fire and police departments.

“As our community unites again this year, we are reminded of the more than 500,000 American lives lost in World War II and the Korean War; 60,000+ in Vietnam; 6,000+ in the Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan,” said Patricia Palumbo Director of Leasing and Marketing for Klein Enterprises. “We also remember nearly 3,000 people who were lost in the attacks of September 11, 2001, including 343 firemen and 60 police and port authority officers; and many others who have died in acts of terror on our soil, including eight lives lost in the recent terrorist attack in New York on October 31st.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a hero to the ceremony, so all in attendance can express their thanks and gratitude. Special thanks to Bella Napoli, Mission BBQ, Food Lion, Dollar Tree, Dunkin Donuts, Mr. Tire, Robert Andrew Spa & Salon, CRW Flags, Shamrock Awards and many others for past and present support and participation.
