Police: Woman Faked Armed Carjacking Report at Towson Town Center

Police in Baltimore County have charged a Parkville woman with essentially wasting their time with an elaborate report of an attempted gunpoint carjacking at the mall last week.

Pamela Davis, 46, told police last Tuesday she was in a parking garage across from Towson Town Center when two suspects “lurking among the parked cars” approached her. She described them as black males wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black ski masks and jeans.

Officers who responded heard her initial story: She was opening her car door when they approached and demanded she hand over the keys; she thought they had a gun, but didn’t see one; she refused, and they instead took her purse and ran away.
