WSJ: Under Armour Footwear Exec Ruppe to Depart

The head of Under Armour's (NYSE:UA) footwear business, Peter Ruppe, is leaving the company, WSJ reports, the latest in a series of senior departures as UA struggles with slowing sales of its apparel and sneakers.

Senior VP Ruppe, who has run UA's footwear business for the past two years after spending two decades at Nike, iwill be succeeded by Ryan Drew, who previously served as general manager of UA’s basketball division.

Ruppe's departure follows the recent exits of UA's co-founder, chief marketing officer and the heads of its women's, youth and sport fashion divisions.
