Minority Innovation Weekend is focusing on steps to build a business in Baltimore.
The daylong event, organized by The National Society of Black Engineers – Baltimore Metropolitan Area Chapter, is set for Nov. 11 at the Hotel RL in Inner Harbor.
The goal “is to facilitate a conference that will provide training for individuals who are interested in taking a technology-based idea or concept and turning it into a viable tech startup,” said Minority Innovation Weekend Cooridinator Derek Westray.
