The Ravens game against the Tennessee Titans Nov. 5 largely followed the script this season: Devoid of playmakers, an offense led by an inconsistent Joe Flacco struggled to generate points, and the defense had a few costly breakdowns.
The result was a 23-20 loss that sends the Ravens into their bye week at 4-5, with two weeks to recuperate, evaluate and ultimately try to save a season that is slipping away.
“We need to be better. It’s as simple as that,” Flacco said, who finished 34-for-52 for 261 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
