Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was back on the practice field Nov. 1 for his first workout since suffering a concussion against the Miami Dolphins Oct. 26. After the workout, Flacco said he was "definitely ready to go" for the Ravens' game at the Tennessee Titans Nov. 5.
"I feel good; I feel really good," said the 10th-year quarterback, who was still was sporting stitches in his left ear after the shot to the head he took from Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso late in the second quarter of the Ravens' 40-0 win.
As Flacco slid at the end of a scramble, Alonso hammered Flacco in the head with his shoulder and forearm, knocking Flacco's helmet off, slicing open his ear and leaving the quarterback visibly woozy. He immediately left the game and did not return.
