Sweet Home Furniture to Open at Market at Opitz Crossing

10/30/17

Sweet Home Furniture will open a new location at Market at Opitz Crossing, the 157,724 square-foot shopping center located at 2141 Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge, Va. that was acquired by Klein Enterprises in June 2017. The opening of the 10,550-square-foot store is expected to be in January of 2018.

Market at Opitz Crossing is anchored by a PriceRite Supermarket and offers Woodbridge residents access to a variety of dining, shopping and other service-oriented facilities. Major national tenants include Chipotle, Advance Auto Parts, Dollar Tree, Checkers, Subway, Taco Bell, Edible Arrangements, Papa Johns, Hair Cuttery and T-Mobile.

“We opened our first location in 1999 with high quality furniture and great prices and a goal to always provide our customers with the best furniture and prices to satisfy their needs,” said Jaser Abukari, owner of Sweet Home Furniture. “This new location at Market at Opitz Crossing allows us the opportunity to provide the great deals we’re known for on bedroom, dining room and living room sets as well as mattresses, decor, rugs, and lamps to even more residents of Virginia.”

This will be the third Sweet Home Furniture in the market following openings in Falls Church, Va. and Hyattsville, Md.

Market at Opitz Crossing is Klein Enterprises’ third retail asset in Virginia, following the development of Stafford Corner in 2014 and the company’s acquisition of Pleasant Valley Shopping Center in 2016.

J. Duggan Hirt of Renaud Consulting represented Sweet Home Furniture in the transaction.
