Fans of Ben's Cat, the Maryland-bred horse racing legend who died earlier this year, will have an opportunity to celebrate the famous thoroughbred's accomplishments at Laurel Park Nov. 11.
That day, Laurel Park will have six stakes races on its card, and admirers of Ben's Cat, who finished with 32 career wins, will have an opportunity to collect mementoes of the four-time Maryland-bred Horse of the Year.
The first 4,000 program purchasers will receive a Ben's Cat bobblehead and there will also be a giveaway of Ben's Cat posters while supplies late.
