Just over a week after Radee Prince shot three of his co-workers dead and injured two others with a handgun at Harford County’s Advanced Granite Solutions, the business has reopened, albeit in mourning.
On Thursday morning, the Edgewood-based countertop maker and installer said in a statement online, “Our staff has shown a lot of tenacity and resilience during this difficult time, and we are forever grateful for their support and compassion. After careful consideration and consulting with our team, we have decided to open our doors today, October 25.”
Prince, 37, showed up for his scheduled shift last Wednesday and gathered his colleagues in one room. He then opened fire, hitting five of them before fleeing to Delaware. Police said he then shot another person there, non-fatally, before they located and arrested him that night. He faces attempted murder and other charges in Delaware, where he’ll be tried first before standing trial in Maryland on charges of murder, attempted murder and more.
