SGP Launches New Messaging and Website for DataGen

10/26/17

Sage Growth Partners (SGP), a Baltimore-based healthcare research, strategy, and marketing firm, today announced the launch of new messaging and a new website for DataGen. A healthcare data analytics and policy firm, DataGen communicates notice of payment policy changes, translates them into easily understood terms, and provides important insight to hospitals and health systems. DataGen also creates algorithms that illustrate the financial impact of change. This insight allows providers to prepare for payment changes by adjusting their clinical and business practices.

SGP designed and built the new responsive website for DataGen to more effectively showcase its services and thought leadership. The work included new messaging, and a new tagline.

"When we first engaged Sage, we had already tried working with several other marketing and strategy firms," said Michael Ilnicki, DataGen President and CEO. "But it's difficult to find subject matter experts – other organizations just didn't get us. Sage is different – they understand the healthcare market. They were able to immediately reevaluate how we were talking about ourselves. 'Simplifying the complexities of payment change.' As simple as that sentence is, it's not something we could have developed without Sage. The new messaging, the new website, and the other marketing work Sage is doing is impacting our credibility and brand awareness; we are generating more business opportunities by virtue of this work. It's my goal to be in the conversation as one of the top healthcare data analytics and policy firms in the country. With what we've achieved with Sage thus far, I think we're on our way there."

"DataGen takes very complex changes to Medicare policy, and translates them into something actionable," said Boh Hatter, SGP CMO and General Manager, Marketing. "In today's confusing healthcare payment landscape, that's powerful. But DataGen's old messaging and website didn't communicate that in a compelling way. We've aimed to shorten the distance between a prospective client visiting DataGen's website and having that 'aha' moment of – 'Wow, these guys can help my business a whole lot.' It's very exciting to see the website live, and I look forward to seeing the results it will generate for DataGen."
