CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora believes the talent on the Ravens' roster, especially at skill positions, is lacking.
"When you're picking guys up off the street in the middle of the summer all the time, and they're older guys, this is what's going to happen," La Canfora said in an interview on Glenn Clark Radio Oct. 24. "Their skill players were among the worst in the league before the injuries happened."
The Ravens are 3-4 and have lost four of their past five games. Injuries along the offensive line and at running back and wide receiver have severely hindered them.
La Canfora, a Baltimore native, wasn't surprised by the health issues, and he imagined the Ravens would struggle with a lack of talent on their depth chart. The Ravens have the league's 31st-ranked offense (277.6 yards/game) and lowest-rated passing attack.
