In his role, Mr. Barth will be responsible for the overall management of all the Spirit dining and sightseeing boats in Baltimore. He will oversee budgetary planning, hiring and firing of staff, training, strategic planning and execution as well as supporting and supervising the marketing, sales and culinary teams. In addition, he will work with the Entertainment Cruises corporate office to further brand the company in the region. Barth began his career with Entertainment Cruises back in 2007 as a part-time bartender in DC while he was working on Capitol Hill for the Republican National Committee. After working eight years at the RNC as their Deputy Strategy Director for Technology and Data, he transitioned to becoming the Senior Government Relations Manager for Eventbrite, a world-renowned ticketing and event management start-up in 2011. Over the past ten years, he continued as part-time bartender for Entertainment Cruises even while holding other jobs in the region and across the country. Recently, he also helped with filling roles in the front of the house operations, hiring and training of new employees and then became a transitional leader for the back of house operations for the Odyssey in late 2016 and for the Spirit operations since February.
