So Far, Ravens Failing To Capitalize On Favorable Circumstances

The circumstances appeared highly favorable for the Ravens, but so far the results have been disappointing.

The Ravens are in the midst of an unlikely seven-game stretch during which they are expected to face either a rookie or a backup quarterback six times. The Miami Dolphins, who visit M&T Bank Stadium Oct. 26, will start backup Matt Moore at quarterback; he replaced injured Jay Cutler and threw two fourth-quarter touchdowns to rally the Dolphins past the New York Jets, 31-28, Oct. 22.

In the first three games of this stretch, the Ravens have gone 1-2, leaving them with a 3-4 record and a season on the brink. Here is a look at the results of those first three games and the projected starting quarterbacks for the next four contests:
