Former Ravens tight end Todd Heap thought quarterback Joe Flacco was a victim of poor execution by his teammates during the Ravens' 27-24 overtime loss to the Chicago Bears Oct. 15.
"He was roughly 50 percent on his passing for the game, but that's not because he wasn't throwing the ball where it needed to be," Heap said in an interview on Glenn Clark Radio Oct. 16. "There may have been a couple games earlier in the season where he wasn't playing up to his standards, but you can't point to that for any of the reasons why they lost in the game."
The week before, Flacco went 19-for-26 with 222 yards passing during a 30-17 win against the Oakland Raiders. It was the only game this season in which Flacco didn't throw an interception.
