The Maryland Proton Treatment Center’s Jill Rosenberg Honored as a 2017 Leading Woman by The Daily Record

The Maryland Proton Treatment Center, the only proton treatment center in the Baltimore-Washington region, announced today that its Chief Growth Officer, Jill Rosenberg, has been named a “2017 Leading Woman” by The Daily Record.

The Daily Record’s Leading Women awards honor 50 women who are 40 years of age or younger for the accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. A panel of previous Top 100 Women and Leading Women winners selected the honorees based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change.

“This is an honor I share with my team and the Maryland Proton Treatment Center’s brave patients,” said Rosenberg. “The incredible spirit of my patients drives me to set high expectations, think outside of the box, and come up with innovative solutions that satisfy their needs."

The Daily Record launched the Leading Women awards in 2010 to recognize the next generation of Maryland’s women leaders.

The Maryland Proton Treatment Center is a state-of-the-art facility offering the East Coast’s only fully integrated system of image-guided proton therapy and intensity-modulated proton therapy. It is the first and only center in the U.S. to use a unique throughput system that prepares patients for therapy before bringing them into the treatment room.

As cancer survivor, Rosenberg serves as a resource to others who are currently experiencing the challenges that she faced. She spearheaded the Maryland Proton Treatment Center’s free, dedicated concierge services that are available to all patients. Rosenberg’s concierge team assists in making all necessary arrangements

before, during, and after treatment, allowing patients and their families to focus on what really matters – getting better.
