True Citrus CEO Albert Soricelli announced today the addition of Robert Cuddihy as the company's chief operating officer, a newly formed position.

Cuddihy is a proven senior operating and financial executive with expertise in sales, marketing, advertising, manufacturing, logistics, distribution and retail trade management. Most recently, Cuddihy served as COO for eight years at life-science company ProPhase Labs Inc. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, where he helped to successfully sell its Cold-EEZE® cold remedy brand. Cuddihy will report directly to Soricelli and oversee investor relations and finance, as well as be heavily involved in strategic planning and day-to-day operations.

"Within the past five years, True Citrus has grown its distribution footprint to over 35,000 retail outlets, expanded its e-commerce business significantly, developed a new and strong foodservice partnership, and is selling base products to more and more industrial ingredients accounts. Yet there is still tremendous upside opportunity, so now is the perfect time to bring someone on board to help our team take True Citrus to the next level," Soricelli said. Cuddihy has more than 20 years of experience as chief operating officer and/or chief financial officer of three public companies, including ProPhase Labs, iDNA Inc. and HMG Worldwide Corporation, focusing on corporate communications, retail, planning and merchandising. Cuddihy has also served as the president of Shannon Hill Associates, providing due diligence, financial structuring, operational analysis and transaction negotiation services for M&A, restructurings and divestitures. Cuddihy started his career with KPMG Peat Marwick, Certified Public Accountants, where he was a senior audit manager. Cuddihy graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
